Recently held at Nye Elementary was OPERATION: Breaking the Boy Code, where 5th grade teacher Mr. Kerstetter taught 21 4-5th grade boys the meaning of values in a variety of cultures, in addition to reinforcing leadership and friendship skills. The boys had a blast learning about King Arthur and his knights and creating shields and totem poles, among lots of other things in this 8-week program. This is yet another program LD CTC supports in our district with generous help from local businesses and individuals!
